What’s On

On a regular basis we have the following events, activities and promotions:

“Monday Club” 5pm til close discounted prices on Carlsberg £2.50 and Tetley’s Bitter £2.15 to get your week started on the right track.

Tuesday – “Adam’s Quiz” starts at 9pm prompt with sixty questions including a picture round, butties during proceedings and finished off with the weird and wonderful “Play Your Cards Right”…..hardly anybody wins but it’s a right laugh!

Last Wednesday of Each Month – Open Mic Night at 8pm, we get a wide mixture of musicians who get up and jam together in a relaxed and enjoyable evening…all welcome.

World Cup Football – Monday 18th 7pm Tunisia v England, Sunday 24th 1pm England v Panama and Thursday 28th 7pm England v Belgium we will naturally be showing all other live games during opening hours.

Upcoming Events:

Parbulele – Ukulele Festival, West Lancashire’s biggest and best Ukulele Festival comes to Parbold on the first weekend of August every year. We will have performers in the beer garden as well as multiple locations around the village.

Parbold Street Festival – First weekend in September the whole village is turned over to this major village event and The Railway will yet again be hosting the main stage at the rear of the pub.

Acts come from all over and it is an absolutely fantastic weekend with parades, stalls, duck race and sunshine (hopefully).

The Whiskey Chasers are Back!! – Saturday 29th September, a superb four pieces band with Jon vocals and Guitar, Mike on drums, Frank on Guitar and Mike Britner on Bass and Vocals, these lads smash it and this is their sixth gig at The Rails and we love em’…it’ll be a brilliant night.

Adam and Jane and The Railway’s Eighth Anniversary Party – Saturday 27th October

Each year we celebrate our coming to the pub birthday with a cracking bash, generally fancy dress with entertainment and this year will be no different. We are thinking of having an Eighties theme so break out your Flock of Seagull haircut Chandler and get ready to party….all welcome.
